Pro Tips for Booking
Come prepared for the access road. It’s rough in stretches — a vehicle with reasonable clearance makes the drive in much easier.
Visit October through April. This is the region’s dry season, with the clearest, most reliable dark skies for stargazing through the in-dome telescopes.
Stock up in Alpine first. It’s the last real town before you’re deep into remote Big Bend Country, so fill up on gas and supplies there.
