Why Fennville & the Saugatuck Coast

This stretch of Southwest Michigan punches well above its weight for a comfort-first trip. You're minutes from Saugatuck's Lake Michigan beaches and dune climbs, surrounded by some of the state's best wineries and cideries, and close enough to Holland and South Haven to fill an entire long weekend without repeating a stop.

What Makes It Special

• Location: Fennville, minutes from Saugatuck and Lake Michigan beaches
• Setting: Wooded property with river access and hiking trails
• Site types: Glamping cabins, fully enclosed and solid-wall
• Amenities: On-site bathhouse, heated mattress pads, camp store, AC
• Recreation: Hiking trails, nearby dune climbs, wineries a short drive away

Pro Tips for Booking

Ask specifically for a solid-wall cabin if you're a light sleeper. The property sits near a highway, and reviewers consistently note that thinner-walled units carry more road noise than the fully enclosed cabins.

Book heated units in shoulder season. The heated mattress pads are the single most-praised amenity here — they make spring and fall stays genuinely comfortable, not just tolerable.
